ALLEGAN COUNTY HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN
The County of Allegan will hold two public meetings on the Allegan County Hazard
Mitigation Plan on Thursday, April 29, 2021, for all interested citizens to comment
and discuss the proposed plan.
The comment period will take place at 1:00PM and again at 6:00PM remotely via
electronic teleconference pursuant to MCL 15.263a, to prevent the spread of
COVID. The public may participate in the meeting/public comment by calling 1‐

The County of Allegan has contracted with the ASTI Environmental (ASTI) to update
the Allegan County Hazard Mitigation Plan. The Plan may be examined online at
www.alleganhmp.com. The public may also view the plan at
www.allegancounty.org under Emergency Management or on weekdays by
appointment with the Emergency Management Director, between 8:00AM and
5:00PM, telephone number below. All interested citizens will have the opportunity
to give written and/or oral comment.
The County will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services to
individuals with disabilities at the public hearing upon one (1) week notice.
