Checks are mailed weekly on the Friday or Monday following the claim process.
 
  
Claims are processed on a weekly basis. The County’s departments are required to have them approved and turned into the Finance Department by 5:00PM every Friday.  Claims are then processed the following week.
  
Financial Services may be contacted at (269) 673-0203 or you may contact the Department that was invoiced for the purchase of goods or services.
  
The earnings you received from the County throughout the course of the year are considered to be taxable earnings. You should present the 1099 form to your tax preparer when filing your annual income taxes. If you feel you have received a 1099 by error, please contact Financial Services at (269) 673-0203.
  
As a vendor who receives money for goods sold or services rendered, it is required from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for the County to keep your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN#) on file.

​A Request for Proposal (RFP) is typically a purchase over $10,000 and includes specifications and a list of minimum requirements. Vendors must submit their proposals in accordance to the requirements listed in the RFP.

  

RFPs are listed on the County’s website under Bidding Opportunities. RFPs are listed per fiscal year.  Information will include:

  • Open RFPs
  • Closed RFPs
  • Bid Tabs
  • Awards
