Background

 
Implementing public health policy as established by federal, state and local guidelines, is a primary function of the Administrative Services Division under the guidance of the Allegan County Board of Commissioners. The Health Officer and Health Administration team provide the leadership, and guide the vision and implementation strategies for the total department.  
 
In addition, this division serves in a supportive capacity by providing many centralized functions for the entire Health Department.
